What is a genius, according to the dictionary it’s a person with exceptional creative ability .Well if that is the case then check out this hot artist straight out of the Lou. Lyrical Genius aka LG better known as….. Stl’s Finest.
Lyrical Genius (Montanez Reed) Aka LG is an artist with a vision. His creative style and ability to create a vision in your mind as you listen to his tracks, lets you know he is an artist on a mission.   His titled debut “Blood, Sweat and Tears” says it all.  His struggles and hardships he has endured are emotionally and creatively displayed in his tracks. LG raps about what is real out in the streets of STL and stays true to his self.  His style is versatile appealing to the youth as well as adults. Music for LG has been an outlet to express where he’s been and where he is headed.  Watching him perform you can see the stage is a second home for him; he comes to life, full of energy and passion for his craft.  He moves the crowds which such hits as “All Whites”, “In The Club”,  “All I See”,   “ Speed Demon”, “I Dun Did It” and list goes on and on. Life wasn’t easy for him as a child, growing up in the streets and being the 3rd oldest of 9 and no father figure he was forced be a man at an early age. Music became his outlet and his refuge. LG received his name in the streets after defeating all local competitors in local rap battles.  Later at the age of 15 he began recording and recorded his first track “Fetti” with Short & Playdoe, after the group fell out and parted ways he still gives to every one who had something to do with that project.He once was addicted to the streets but later became addicted to the studio.

LG is a man with many talents he is a rapper, writer, producer, dancer and videographer,and graphic designer  He is not just an artist he is an entrepreneur and businessman.  This artist displays the perseverance and persistence that is needed to breakthrough in this industry.  LG brings something fresh and invigorating to the game, once you meet him he will embrace you with his charm and flavor.
