DJ Roger Diamond, born & bred in the UK, S.-London, a area called Brixton, which we call the capital of London. I started to dj from a young age & was inspired by my older brother's who were heavily involved in the UK/ Jamaican Dance hall culture of the late 80's through to the 90's.
I started dj'ing at about the age of 14yr's old, promoting & playing in house parties & eventually night clubs with my friends who started a sound system called Younger Sovereign, then eventually sovereign syndicate, which consisted of friends from my area & school.
With the help of my brother's, family & friends the dj game was taken to a higher level in the UK, when they brought Snoop Dog first to the UK, Brixton Academy in the early 90's on the Snoop Doggy Dog tour, also we promoted a number of acts from jamaica, this took my knowledge & contacts in the UK game to a new level. I lost my brother in 1999 & took a couple years out of the game & returned in 2002, going on too dj in Paris, Barbados, Jamaica, Sweden & Gambia (Africa)
As a Dj I have always kept a good ear to the ground for new music or talent, dropping them 1st on my mix tapes or community radio show's in the UK. I like to be ahead of the street's to drop that banger 1st, from hip hop - Reggae.
I mainly play, Hip Hop, RnB, Reggae & Dance Hall Bashment old or new, but still like to be versatile.
