about me
How long would it take for an elf to learn the craft of music?
It can be longer than one might think. Elves live for many, many years and begin at different times in their childhood. I began my journey into the realm of music at the young age of 13. It has been nearly seven years since that first dive into composing and I still have much to learn.
To master the craft of music as the elders have takes many years of practice. Elven music is beautiful and intricate, simple yet complex. That is what you will hear in my music.

The music itself is a blend of modern industrial tech no with elements of folk and symphonic influence.

Why this name?
It just came to me and stuck. (or to make you ask questions, depends on the mood I'm in when you ask me :P)

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives up and coming artists and easier way to get their music heard in an industry where the big artists menace over the unheard. It allows the real talent a chance to shine over the mass produced crap that floods the radio and charts in the modern day.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
As long as they do not attempt to force me to change my sound to something which I do not stand behind one hundred percent.

Your influences?
Nature and my anger towards the people who are destroying it are my main influences.

Musical Influences

Composers
Wagner, Dvorak, Borodin, Mozart, Schubert, Liszt, Howard Shore, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jim Steinman

Bands
Nightwish, Rhapsody of Fire, Elvendrums, Dimmu Borgir, Velvet Cacoon, Psyclon Nine, Tactical Sekt, Amduscia

Singers/Songwriters
Enya, Loreena McKennitt, Gary Stadler, Annie Lennox

Favorite spot?
I love the woods, forests, and bodies of water such as lakes and oceans. The raw untouched beauty and power of these places is from where I draw inspiration.

Equipment used:
Fl Studio 6 XXL, Halion, Edirol Orchestral, Synful and EWQL Rare Giga are my main tools. I have a collection of freeware vsts that I draw synth sounds out of as well, far too many to list here.

Anything else...?
Be yours'elf!
