Starting out ghostwritting for several local artist, it wasn't until 1998 did he have the urge to bless the world himself w/ his own music.

Since then, he's starting to put together a production/promotional company (Get Dough Music Group), recorded several mixtapes and helped countless artist further there musical endeavors by continuing to produce hits for local artist/musicians such as:

The music of Rich Jame$ pulls from both modern and classic influences in both Hip Hop and R&B genres. It's a mixture of straight forward, high energy hip hop w/ a strong reggae/blues base. He also utilizes other modern influences such as electronica sounds, native chants and tribal drums.

Rich claims that his music is a reflection of his childhood and a tribute to the little things that brought joy to his loved ones lost. His lyrics are real life, from the perspective of a man who feels like he's lost everything that's important to him, but doesn't take away from the joy that life still brings.

The loss of his grandfather in Sept. of 2000 has made up much of the inspiration and motivational drive to succeed w/ his life endeavors.

He's recorded several street mixtapes that are currently doing quite well locally and internationally. Currently The Free Agentz, in which Rich Jame$ is 1/5 of, released their first single like "Im Better," to 95.5 which has received tremendous airplay for an independent release on both college and commercial radio stations.

What else can I say, the industry better watch out... here's a new force to be wreckon'd with, PERIOD...
